Larkspur Shores Apartments This apartment complex is conveniently located right off the freeway and is right across the street from the larskpur ferry boats. There are shops located down the street a few blocks away. The apartments are nice and roomy. They even have apartments that are 2 story with bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. They also have a community swimming pool. The only negative is that they have limited visitor parking and their rent is high.
Larkspur Shores is the biggest mistake I ever made. EVER I hate this effin place. Of all the places I've rented, this is by far the worst. Moving here was the biggest mistake I've ever made and I will never let my boyfriend off the hook for saying "But we could save money because the rent is cheaper." Never forgiving him for that. I've been here for 9 months or so and it really seems like every week there is some bs I'm dealing week. And if I happen to have a peaceful week, it's a sure bet that the next week will be double h... read more
Wouldn't even show us an apartment.. Even though the sign said the leasing office is open until 5 on Sundays, we showed up at 4:30 and were told by Chaz that "it's our policy not to show past 4:30". We were in town only until the next morning and wouldn't make an exception. Having worked in the customer service industry for many years I find that kind of attitude disheartening. Larkspur Shores - New Slum Style Living in Marin October 11, 2007 We've lived here at Larkspur Shores Apartments for almost three years. We are under new management and ownership. Current rents have jumped over $250.00/month for a one bedroom; and although new tenants can get one free month's worth of rent (average about $1750), no such deal is offered to existing, quiet and stable tenants. Renter Beware Kinda dumpy. But the ones nextdoor aren't much nicer and they cost a lot more. Plus is that it's close to the ferry and to the freeway. There seem to be a lot of car break-ins too.
PLEASE BEWARE! READ THIS This is the WORST place!!! I am so incredibly sick of it here! Where do I even begin?!?! Well, when we moved in, the assistant property manager Maureen (the person who showed us the apartment) did not inform us that they were going to be renovating the entire place TWO WEEKS after we moved in. Larkspur Shores is The worst place EVER to rent from.. This place is the worst place EVER to live. Every person they hire as staff in the leasing dept. are f'ng no good and are unhelpful bunch of idiots. They went through 2 managers since I moved in this year. They make constant errors on saying that you never paid rent when I actually did and even brought proof from my bank and then they said they took care of it and NEVER apologized for putting me through hell. Enjoy Workers Hammering Past 11 p.m. Here's a benefit to living at Larkspur Shores: You too can enjoy an evening and late night listening to hammers going non-stop in the apartment next door to yours. The carpet van with workers were there at about 4:30 p.m. when I came home from work. Carpet laid out on the sidewalk (dangerous for trick-or-treaters in the dark). They worked past 11:30 p.m. with hammering, ripping up carpets, etc.. What does this say about the current management team? Who cares if the tenants are disturbed? ... read more
