Poor management. Halls smelled heavily of cat urine. Owners would leave their emotional support dog feces and urine in the elevator and wouldn’t bother to clean. Often times there was trash /half eaten food in the elevators that wouldn’t get picked up for days. Also, no fitness center on site rather Anytime Fitness occupies a store front but tenets have to pay same as those in the community. Sequoya Commons - Great Location, good amenities, amazing community! Although I've only been here for a couple months, my time has been quite nice. You can't beat living right by a great coffee spot, a pizza joint, and chocolate shoppe ice cream. Moreover you are just minutes away from the southwest commuter path and 15 min from downtown by car. Sequoya Commons is a great place to live! It is a super convenient place to live if you work at the nearby hospitals and it's also close to several grocery stores and the Hilldale Mall. Staff are friendly and responsive. Areas are clean. If there is a mess, it gets cleaned up quickly. Very safe place to live.There is not a fitness center but we get a discount at the Anytime Fitness downstairs. Pet friendly. There is a nice common area that can be reserved for events. Love it here especially with the anytime fitness right below the building!
I have lived here 12 years. It’s quiet, impeccably maintained, management is very responsive, location is the best. Wouldn’t live anywhere else. It’s home.
