Sequoia Equities’ management of Isabella Apartments in Greenwood Village, CO has been unacceptable. For the past five weeks, my central A/C has been out despite five vendor visits. Their on-site team has only offered portable coolers, which are loud, uneven, and increase my electric bill — not a replacement for the permanent system I pay $2,135/month for. I've been treated very poorly through out my entire stay. I've been treated poorly by the community manager at valley ridge and by several residents, I've been treated poorly by cooperate. I have several emails. This entire experience has been very disgusting. I will be taking further action.

Staff is uniformed about California state laws. Since moving in they have tried to hold me accountable to a lease I've never seen before. They've dismissed complaints about the porter onsite and documented the complaints in my resident file, instead of his employee file. Immediately after doing so they raised my rent and illegally pressured me to sign a new lease. If I were the owner I would consider this a liability. Find someplace else. I have a long list of complaints. My base monthly rent for a dark one bedroom apartment that received no direct sun was $2520. We won’t talk about the patio that I never used because it was covered in rat feces. I broke my lease and moved out early paying the two months extra—okay that’s fair. I was told by the manager that I had to be out by the 26th of the month, when I pushed back, she gave me an explanation I didn’t understand, but okay, whatever, I was out by the 26th.
