LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Galea! He helped me so much when my two cats were each diagnosed with terminal ilnesses. Very compassionate and caring vet. I drive all the way from Van Nuys just to go to him, worth the trip!
professional & courteous – i took my pooch there for shots and exam, and the staff and doctor were awesome. I felt very cared for. Definitely my goto vets from now on
Compassionate! – I took my little 7 year old dog into Sepulveda Animal Hospital for a routine check up and shots. I was very impressed by the compassion of all of the staff members. From the receptionist, to the doctor and technicians, I could tell that they all really love animals. It's good to know I've found a veterinarian that loves my dog as much as I do.
Not a good experience - unnecessary tests. – They step you up on price and take advantage of your concern for your animal. My cat was throwing up, but instead of starting on some medication to see how the animal did, they took exrays and then pushed for a pancreatits exam. Then, although his foot was hurt - they said wait and see. I go in for more x-rays and they give him a splint that is so huge he can't get around. But, hey - what about that Pancratitis exam? Compassionate, realistic – Drs. Galea and Torrisi just helped me through a most distressing illness with my young cat. The staff is wonderful as well. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
mixed feelings – I just went to SAH after being referred by a friend. The facilities were very nice, clean and up-to-date. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe was really good. My dog was examined by Dr. Torrisi who was kind and to-the-point. She was very thorough in the exam, did a good job of asking questions and explaining everything to me. The kindest Veterinary doctor that I've ever met – I had been going to another vet, who's office either closed or moved (I don't remember). Somewhow I heard about Dr. Galea. I took my then 17 year old cat for an exam. A year later, that beautiful and sweet cat became ill and the time came to euthanize him. I was devastated to find that he was so ill, when I thought it was something that could easily be treated. Professional, Compassionate and Honest! – We cannot thank Dr. Galea enough for helping us with our dog. Loui was diagnosed with a torn ligament and surgery was recommended for him straight away. Our regular veterinarian is not a surgeon so we took Loui to meet Dr. Galea and get a second opinion. We liked the fact that Dr. Galea did not ?push? the surgery.
