Beautiful, stylish, clean, and comfortable – This place has gone through a transformation over the past year sometime because I didn't even recognize this place when I checked in. I like all of the changes, especially the artwork around the lobby area and the lounge and restaurant have a really nice feel to them. The rooms are as big as ever. Great Experience – We were staying at the Hotel deLuxe and decided to try their happy hour, and we wish we would have been there every night we were in town! The happy hour portions are the regular portions, and the food is excellent. The pork belly was down just right, and the sweet corn polenta was fantastic, and who can pass up oysters on rock salt? Be treated like the star of the universe – The finest accommodations we have enjoyed in several years. Upon arrival we were whisked to the reservation desk and in less than five minutes were sitting comfortably in our room. The view was magnificent and the room spotless. There is nothing you could possibly desire that the hotel staff were unable to provide, and do so with a friendly smile and create a feeling that you request is of absolute importance. Lovely Hotel – The Hotel Lucia is located in the center of Portland. Staying at The Hotel Lucia is a wonderful experience.
Affordable luxury, Over priced transportation. – Very elegant and hip for the price. Comfortable! Nice staff. However, when leaving don't let the bell-boys stuff you in a town car or limo. I took a Taxi-cab to the airport last stay and it was half the cost. The bell-boys don't tell you that though.
Poor customer service. – Well, when people ask how my trip to Portland was? I must reply? it was great once we got to the right hotel. Several years ago we took advantage of a big deal package at the Governor?s Hotel, it was very pleasant, a nice room with a fireplace, the steam room and pool. So I planned, a couple of months ahead, a get away for my husband?s birthday. Extremely Exceptional Customer service! – The service and attention to detail was perfect at Hotel Lucia! The staff is there to serve and willing to do what it takes to make your stay great! The rooms are relaxing and the beds are so good they are hard to get out of! The location is perfect, in that you can get to anything easily. I will return to the Hotel Lucia as the experience I had there was a joy!
Renovations are a pain... – Unfortunately, my husband and I chose this hotel to stay in the night of our wedding. It's close to the airport, offers a free shuttle, and held my dress for me until my maid of honor could pick it up the next day. We thought it might be a decent choice since they have the "Oooey Gooey Package" for honeymooners, and we didn't want to spend a ton of money since we were on our way to a fabulous honeymoon in Belize. Very trendy, modern hotel – My girlfriend and I decided to spend a night away from the house and chose this hotel based on the modern pictures provided. Based on the pictures, the hotel looked a lot different than most - in a good way. We were a little skeptical based on its location since Briley Pkwy has always been mess in the past years.
