Went to see Dr Bort three times and I was never really impressed her she was pleasant but I look for other attributes in a doctor. One thing I noticed not on any of my three visits in a year did she ever place her hands on me to check my neck and I have had thyroid disease for over thirty years. I had a very indifferent exchange with office personel.she didn't want to Give information, insisted I need a Referral I don't need, etc I could tell she wanted to hang up. Awkward!
I was set up in February for the first available appointment which was August 30th at 8:40. At some point it was changed to 8:20 but not on my calendar. I got to the office at 8:36. Was told they have a 15 minute window so I was 1 minute late. Appointment was with Dr Bohrt Tercors. She was too busy to see me and the next appointment was in December. I was referred to Dr. Rawla by my family doctor. I never look forward to going to any doctor, just not my thing. Dr Rawla came into the room and all of that changed. He was excellent! He was very thorough going through my history, medications, and diet. We talked for a while about family, fatherhood, and other things. Very refreshing to have a “down to earth “ Dr. that explains what he is doing and why he is doing it. I would highly recommend this Endo doctor to anyone. My family Dr. sent me to Dr. Rawla for my diabetes. It took 4 months to get a afternoon appointment. One of the medicines I need was Gabapentin for Nueropathy. My family Dr. had originally prescribed it and when I tried to get the prescription renewed he told me Dr. Rawla would have to fill it. So I called his office to see if he'd refill it since I couldn't get an appointment for 4 months. His nurse told me Dr. Rawla wouldn't fill it over the phone and I needed to be seen.
