Dinner arrived right when a power outage occured(20 mins). Never saw the waiter again, until the bill arrived! Attempted to eat the sub par meals (chimichanga/chili rellenos) in the dark! We were not offered a candle to eat by, nor were we checked on at all!!! Meal smothered in tomato sauce does not constitite a title of mexican cuisine!!!!!
Been a fan for 40+ years! Portions are huge, and service has always been exceptional! Our server, Annie, was top-notch on the latest visit! Over the years, I've celebrated many a birthday with a dozen or so friends, and always have great service! And those margaritas!!! My favorites: shredded beef enchiladas, the giant chicken enchilada, and the tamale plate (makes 3 meals for me!)!
Good stuff! Good carne asada and fajitas. Salsa is always fresh and chips goon n crunchy!
Had their Seafood enchiladas tonight for the first time. They were goooooooood!
Came here first time on January 3rd 1972, can't get enough. Margurita to die for, with all bean burrito smothered with their Green Salsa, aka the hot stuff. Mongongo sauce is also very good.

Senor Manuel had to be my all-time favorite Mexican restaurant ever! When I worked at Digital back in 1980ish, I would go there at least once a month and sometimes more! I always got the same thing, the Chile Verde plate, and it was always perfect! I even got to teach an Easterner how to properly eat a tortilla! ;-) I miss it. I don't live there anymore!
The Mondongo is what I usually order. A dish made similarly to green chili, only it is made with jalapeños, pork cubes and mushrooms (yum - won't find this anywhere else). Another fantastic dish is their Chicken Enchiladas with green chili ( not the red enchilada sauce). Best I have ever had.
