I am so grateful to have found Senior Helpers for my Mom. My Mom has Alzheimer's but is otherwise in good shape physically, so we were looking for some companionship mostly. We have gotten that and SO much more, above and beyond my expectations! Our caregiver Jodi frequently takes Mom on fun outings and out for lunch she also helps Mom with meals at home and makes sure she is drinking her water and keeps all the routine house chores done and does the cutest craft projects and puzzles and plays games with her. Senior Helpers has been with our family for the past several years. They've been so understanding and great with both of my parents. They are very flexible with scheduling and are here when we need them. It's been a very good experience.
We have been using Senior Helpers for mom and dad for almost 2 years now. Sandy has been working with them now most of that time. She is amazing and we view her as part of our family now. dad has Dementia and mom has Alzheimer’s. Sandy engages so well with them that they both have more clarity sometimes. We are so blessed to have Senior Helper’s and Sandy in our corner.
Senior Helpers was far superior to the other two caregiving companies we used through my parents’ dementia journey. The caregivers were almost all great. It was obvious that they understood dementia, as opposed to the previous company who sent some people who argued and had no idea how to deal with people with memory loss.
