I see Dr Polk and absolutely love him! He’s compassionate, caring and very knowledgeable! My blocks are also done by him and he’s always done a great job. He truly cares.

Their website says they can take patients pro bono, but my friend has been trying to be seen so she doesn’t go BLIND and they have refused to see her and contradicted the statements on their own website!! This is ridiculous. People who cannot afford healthcare still DESERVE healthcare!! Your job is to HEAL not to be GREEDY

Semmes Murphy doesn’t care about helping patients. They only care about money. I find it interesting that under “Our Mission” on their website it says “The Semmes Murphey Foundation was formed to carry on the legacy of advancing patient care that was established by its founders, Dr. Eustace Semmes and Dr. Francis Murphey, over 100 years ago. Stop making so many appointments that your patients can not be seen within in a reasonable time frame of their appointment time. For example, my appointment was at 12 and I was just told the wait was AT LEAST another 45 minutes and it’s already 1245. I understand emergencies arise but have some respect for my time. Your time is no more important than mine. It would be different if this was the first time this has happened but it’s every time I come here. Ridiculous.

Dr. Fountain and his nurse are amazing! (Post op nurses, my anesthesiologist, everyone really) ARE HANDS DOWN AMAZING! They made me laugh, reassured me when I was scared, and helped my husband when he almost had another seizure while I was in recovery!? They are amazing. I had a 6cm herniated disc I had to have a discectomy to remove a part of and Dr. Fountain kept my disc and let me see it bc I asked him too! Amazing people who care! I’m 2 weeks post op back to living my amazing life!!! Thank each of you so much!!! I’m fore... read more
