I had an awful experience with Dr. Lovell at Semmes-Murphey. I went to them because a limb fell across my neck and I was in severe pain. I had 2 vertebrae rubbing up against each other and 4 more with narrowed spacing and they only fixed 1 with a fusion and a metal clip screwed in to hold it in place. 30 days post-op I went back with severe pain and numbness and the limb also caused problems with my back. RecommendedI recently had my first appointment at Semmes Murphey Clinic and was quite impressed. I arrived at 8am and, with help from the ladies at the check-in counter, completed my registration, I was given a buzzer and sat down to wait for what I thought would probably be 45 minutes to an hour. Zero stars! Horrible customer service!!! Auto drafted money from my account after the bill was paid off and then jerked me around forever to issue a refund check. Their stupid software does not know to stop drafting money when the balance is zero. If they want money out of us they threaten collections. If they owe money they sit on it and lie about when a check will be sent.

*WE LOVE SEMMES MURPHEY!!* Let me just testify a moment, and tell you how amazing God is.. even in the details.. if any of you know Robert very well at all, you know that he has a serious needle phobia. He cannot stand to watch anyone have any kind of bloodwork done, or see them getting a shot.. so imagine how it is for him to have had 3 IV's in the past couple of months.
