Highly recommend this place. Nancy has been wonderful to work with and she has helped me work on my personal issues and i always come out feeling a lot better.
Recently visited Self Help and meet with Emerson. Meeting a counselor first the first time can be intimidating but Emerson put us at ease instantly. Our session was smooth and we were given homework which has been very helpful. We look forward to continuing to grow with the guidance of Emerson and Self Help.

Emerzon, my therapist, is awesome! Right off the bat he was very informative and excited to help. After my first session, Emerzon had said and showed me a few ways that would get me to see things differently. Although I’ve only gone to one session, I am excited for the next few sessions coming up! Highly recommend Emerzon!
SHLA was helpful in making my husband and I understand each other better. After 25yrs of marriage we have started having issues and we were able to work things out with the help of Nancy. She's a great counselor and pointed out what we need to work on and how to communicate thoughts and feeling in a better & effective way.
Thank you self help for helping me and my spouse understand each other in things we did even know we had a problem with. Thank you Emerzon Estrada for always checking up on us and making the best expirience everytime we go to therapy. Highly recommend this place.
I would highly recommend coming to Self-Help LA for marriage counseling and personal therapy. My husband and I initially came in to help save our marriage and we found that it is also helping us as individuals. A special thank you to Nancy for her professionalism but also for making us feel comfortable. It is a personal investment and we are thankful that we decided to give it a try!
