Worst care I have ever seen! 1hr wait to respond to call lights. Missed physical therapy twice because "they forgot" so my mom would try and do it on her own with what she learned at other hospitals. She has a life threatening reaction to scented products and even with a sign on the door staff would come in smelling like they bathed in perfume. If you care about someone don't send them here!
Worst care I've ever witnessed for my mother in 30 years. Absolutely awful.
I loved Select Specialty Hospital. Very caring staff. The admitting nurse, Mike, put my fears to rest the first night with his gentle caring manners, answering all my questions. And I can't forget Elom, who made me laugh everytime we talked. (Laughter is the best medicine.) The physical and occupational therapists were kind taskmasters, pushing me to get to my full potential. The PT, Dian, proved to me that I could still do things that I thought I had lost forever. I would highly recommend Select Specialty Hospital.
We've been here for 25 days and having to choose to take ventilater off of our loved one and all the employees down to the maitentance man have been amazing. I think it's your own attitudes if you are positive positive preveals...
