You get to heal at your own pace surrounded by a surprising amount of kind and compassionate people/staff. Therapy pushed me make gains, but never did I feel overwhelmed. They listened and encouraged me. The doctors rounded on me every day and made me part of the treatment process. I would recommend Select. Thank you for all that youve done for me!.
The care here is exceptional down to the smallest details. The staff were patient and kind. Thank you to everyone at Select who provided me with wonderful care to help me heal and feel better.
the care is OK the communicating is very poor, if you bring items in MAKE SURE family removes them only. my husband was transferred there by a different hospitaln the othe hospital brought all his belongings, when the transferred him to a rehab the insisted the pack his belongs which we are missing several important items for his amputation and an in replaceable photo of his son one call said they could not locate item. nurse are very descriptive on saying anything over phone… See more
Incompetent, uncaring and most of all, negligent. Worst care I have ever heard of in a “hospital.” Do not send your loved ones here if you want them to get better. We lost my grandfather due to their negligence and horrible care. This is the worst excuse for a care facility I have ever heard of. My father was sent there twice. Each time his health declined rapidly. They were incompetent, they could not or would not figure out why he was getting weaker. The second time WE had to call a Real hospital to pull him out, trying to save his life from Select lack of care. He was too weak and we lost him. They main issue was his Gull bladder. ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AWEFUL PLACE !! We think its really a terrible thing that Select feels that no visitation to a Loved One is ever a good idea. But given our experience of the management at Select we are not surprised. Our Beloved Father died yesterday at the ICU in Bergan Mercy Hospital. The nurses were exceptional. They were prompt and kind. The doctors listened to me and my concerns were addressed quickly. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who needed this level of care.
