YUM YUM and YUM!!! – I've been there 2 times and I LOVE this place! I tried the "bowl" dishes and I wasn't thrilled, but the "burgers" and sweet potatoe fries, YUMMMMMM!!!!! It's a little exspensive but the "burger" is huge and the large size fries are plenty for 2 people to share. :) I can't remember if I saw any kind of burrito item but I'll check next time....if not, and they read this comment, I hope you guys do in the near future! :D

Examine your dish carefully if you have anything with kale – I ordered the Thai curry, which tasted good, but after eating more than half of the dish I discovered that what I thought was coarse ground pepper was actually tiny dead bugs - probably hundreds in the whole dish - gross! When I first informed Seed of the bugs, they were a bit defensive and said that people had been ordering that dish all day without complaint. My guess is that they weren't inspecting their food closely, as I didn't notice at first either and thoug... read more

One Mediterranean Burger Please... – I usually have the Mediterranean Burger when I go to Seed. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I used to eat at Seed once a day when I lived a few blocks up the street. I would also recommend the Coconut Curry and the Southwest Burger. If you are looking for delicious Macro/ Vegan food then you have to check out Seed...

Globally-influenced macrobiotic cafe takes root in Venice. – Hailing from M Cafe de Chaya, Chef Eric Lechasseur brings his macrobiotic know-how and progressive eco-consciousness to the Venice crowd with a fresh eatery that pleases both the palate and the planet. The space is small, but bright and airy, with a long communal table and rustic touches that cater to the cafe's organic, community vibe. Reclaimed wood, soy candles, and energy-efficient lighting reflect a commitment to sustainable business practices, as do their bio... read more

Easy to Park and Easy to Be Healthy – I love the space, colors and warmth! I had a faux pepper steak that was really good and also a veggie burger. I like to think that I am an expert on veggie burgers and this one will make me go back for another. The sweet potato fries were a fun addition to my last lunch. The great thing is that you can get this healthy and delicious food to go. I am not Vegan but like to eat well and I highly recommend this restaurant. It's worth making a special trip to Venice. Oh, and with the new non-... read more

Best Vegan/Macrobiotic cuisine in Los Angeles! And I mean it! – I haven't been to a better vegan/macrobiotic restaurant. The food here is excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone, vegan/macrobiotic or not. The menu is very diverse, as is the crowd and area. The ambiance is great - very relaxing and creates a pleasant atmosphere to dine. They also do take-out, and the food is prepared quickly by Eric (master chef) and his staff. The staff is very friendly too. I have to say that their drinks are great too! The Soysage Pa... read more

Editorial Review – Vegan, organic and macrobiotic cuisine with a Japanese fusion flair dominate a menu that includes paninis, tempeh burgers and soups, as well as grain and curry bowls.
