It is a great place to stay and very convenient to the hospital. The accommodations are really nice and comfortable. The volunteers and staff are very friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed all our stays there.
What a wonderful place to stay when you have a loved one in the hospital. The rooms are great the people that work and voluntee here are very friendly. Very close to the hospital and they have plenty of organizations that bring meals for dinner and that is one less thing you have to worry about..

My husband had a double lung transplant in 2014 at Emory University (Atlanta GA), after 2 years we were able to have his care transferred to UNC. SECU is such a nice place to stay, we have enjoyed our stays and the location makes it such an easy trip back and forth to the hospital!
I was there for a meeting of the Triangle Area Bladder Cancer support group. I have stayed at SECU house several times over the past 6 years as a result of my surgery for removal of my cancerous bladder. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated the facility and staff for all that they do for patients and family. As well as housing for my spouse while I was hospitalized now they provide a meeting room for those of us that have fought and are fighting cancer and our caregivers. Kudos to all at SECU house.
