This is a great place to come and have a home cooked meal without the mess. ...a great place for lunch or dinner
My fiancé and I ate here last night. We got there about 15 min before they closed. Mr Poole asked the waitress to bring out more chicken for us, since they hadn't put anymore out because they were getting ready to close up. Even at 15 min before closing, the food was fresh, hot and DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be going back again, hopefully next weekend!! :) Mr. Poole and the waitress were both so friendly

Great homecooked Southern food! The owner and staff are wonderful. Glad to see they will be opening on Saturdays in April.
The buffet is awesome ,it has home cooked food ,and dessert, the cook works extra hard and the staff are all curtious and very friendly and helpful
I will say that it was pretty cheap at $10/person but as the saying goes- you get what you pay for. We got there at 1:30 when they say they close at 3 and most of the food was gone and they didn't act like they were going to replenish most of it. There was no dessert, there was only tea and water to drink, they ran out of plates so when I wanted to go back and get some more of what little food they had, I had to use a dirty plate. I'm very sorry you were unhappy with your visit. We have one cook and apparently the news is spreading about how good our food is and supply and demand is the problem. We are looking into several options to remedy this problem. It was the quantity not the quality of our food that fell short today. Also they were short staffed as I was out sick today.
What a jewel of a restaurant! And the employees are wonderful too! Let the secret out! Make this restaurant a definite stop for you and your family!
