I could count on one hand the times I've been pleasantly surprised upon entering a nondescript restaurant only to find awesome food and pleasant service. The Secret Garden is now at the top of my list for fresh vegetables, great meats, and delicious desserts...all made onsite. Better than the food was meeting the owner, Sonny Poole. This is a Secret, the best buffet food in the midlands! My husband & I loved the food! I suggest everyone give it a try, you'll definitely go back time & time again! You can taste the freshness & love in the food!

Don't be fooled by the lack of updates on Facebook or shabby look to the restaurant. This is a place you have to be in-the-know about...and I'm so glad I'm in-the-know! $12 flat for food so good it'll make you wanna slap somebody! Superb recipes with super-fresh ingredients (much of which the owners grow themselves), great people who truly care about their customers, and an experience that you must try! We love this place! We just celebrated our daughter's 1st birthday here...she ate EVERYTHING! The food is great and the friendly atmosphere is so refreshing. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

OMG this is the best southern food in south Carolina i ever had.
I found the place clean family oriented and the food was good and the price was outstanding you could tell that love went into preparingit the cook cooked as though he/she was cooking for there own family.we so often take for granted the little things but I also enjoyed the fact that it was a down to earth family atmosphere and there were no tvs and no one talked on there cell phone families were talking over dinner how awesome Is that we miss big picture this place is all about family which I feel is the Secret behind the G... read more
