I ordered a medium iced Caramel Corretto, I have had them before and thoroughly enjoyed them. Todays tasted very bitter and that is basically all I could taste, bitter coffee. Generally there is approximately a 10-20 second window to add you milk etc. to the espresso before the espresso shot turns bitter. I would have gone back in but the 2 young ladies didn't seem all that interested when I picked up my order. Very disappointing. Stopped in last weekend after the kids' swim lessons and it was exactly the quick pit stop we needed. My son inhaled a chocolate chip muffin in about two minutes flat while my daughter was thrilled they had steamed milk "babyccinos" for her. The staff at the Portland Street location were patient with our chaos and had our order ready fast, which as a parent of two I genuinely appreciate. Plenty of seating and a relaxed vibe made it easy to sit for a few minutes before wrangling everyone back into the car.
