Disappointing. Coffee is much, much, much weaker than the usual high standard of Second Cup cafes elsewhere in Edmonton. I’ve given this location a few tries, and today will be the last time. It’s a real shame, because I visit the library 2 or 3 times a week and would love to stop here for coffee. As it is, I recommend walking a few blocks to the Jasper Ave & 103 St location, which is what I’ll continue to do.
Stopped by and took out a large Matcha Latte and London Fog Latte (each $6.56 with tax). They came piping hot! Had to wait some time before it cooled but the drinks were well worth the wait. Maybe a touch on the sweeter side, but it wasn't an issue for our taste preference! Service was quick and efficient. Disappointed that Second Cup staff posted this. Will not be giving this able-ist, racist, horrible business my money again. I used to work in the building and I spend time in the area for work; definitely will not recommend this cafe (this location or any) to anyone. How dare you state what I do with my money? How dare you add barriers to those already fighting food insecurity? Plus their match latte... way too sweet. 🤢
