Best scones in town! They don't layer on icing or sugar. Just a delicious slightly sweet scone. And a delightful cuppa.
I love going for egg burritos and an Americana when I am in the area!
Great coffee and they play Oddisee so I don't have to put my headphones on.
I came in for a chai, but since they don't have it on the menu, a very nice gentlemen walked me through other options (and did not shame me for my dislike of coffee)! :) My cinnamon latte was very good! I would still love it if you carried Hugo chai, but I won't hesitate to bring coffee lovers here!
My wife and I love checking out local coffee shops (usually our favorite dates) and since we moved to Kansas city 6 months ago we've been to 16 different ones and I can honestly say this has been our FAVORITE one. Not only did I drink one of the best pourovers I've ever had but the staff is outstanding. Just love their beans. I don't live in KC but every time I go, I have to schedule a trip to Second Best.
When I come to KC this coffee shop is a must! Love the atmosphere, the coffee, and the breakfast burritos!!
