Second Best makes the most gorgeous coffee. It's my favorite coffee shop in all of Kansas City. Staff and owners are wonderful and they always brighten my day.
I'm nowhere near knowledgeable enough about coffee to actually comprehend all this place has to offer. But I know that a lavender honey latte, homemade apple poptart, friendly employees, and a soundtrack that included Neko Case, the Shins and Andrew Bird, is perfection in my book. Feeling pretty damn lucky to have these guys in the neighborhood.
Great ambiance, superb coffee, excellent staff. Bike hooks on the wall means I can ride here!
I love everything about this place!! Great people, food, coffee and atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet, you are missing out.
