They ended up coming to our school performing Romeo and Juliet. Now I normally don't like Romeo and Juliet I've seen it so many times it can get another tiring after a few times but, they really knocked it out of the park. It was fresh and innovative. The actors had true skill and made it enjoyable for everyone.
The touring cast of Romeo and Juliet came to my school and they were simply DIVINE! I normally enjoy Shakespeare’s storylines, but they’re always so confusing! However, the actors made the text their own and understandable (also enjoyable)! It was a VERY unique way of showing Romeo and Juliet. I especially loved Warren’s Mercutio and Nurse. The sassy-ness was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. He KILLED it. Ugh! I love him so much! 😂♥️ Overall, it was amazing!
Saw the closing performance of The Merchant of Venice and it was fantastic! I enjoyed everything about it- having a female Shylock, the costumes, the industrial set, and the amazing ensemble cast.
We've been subscribers for several years and are very happy with the productions. The 2016 production of "Medea" was a landmark in our 40+ year experience of Seattle theater. "The Government Inspector" in 2017 was also memorable. Not every show rises to the standard of those two, but we've always found it well worthwhile to cross the pond from Suquamish.
