The Seattle Shakespeare Company production of She Stoops to Conquer is a masterclass in how to handle heightened text for a modern audience. The acting, the direction and the design are deeply infused with bold, vibrant choices. Invigorating, inspired and awe inspiring. Thank you to the cast, crew, director and design team for an amazing evening of theater.

Saw “She Stoops to Conquer” with my wife and 8 year old son while we were in town. A fantastic production with songs, fantastic acting and overall production! We laughed so hard we cried. My son loved it and it was wonderful to see this adaptation of one of my favorite plays.

Greatest theater in town. Makes Shakespeare accessible (and relevent) to those of us without an advanced degree in English literature.

Love Shakespeare in the Parks, especially. When my sons were younger, we would enjoy a play every summer at Luther Burbank Park. Keep up the good work!
