Founded in 1991, Seattle Shakespeare Company presents year-round productions of classical plays. In our indoor home at the Center House Theatre at Seattle Center, we produce a season of play by Shakespeare and other classic authors. During the summer our free, outdoor Wooden O productions tour to parks in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. Saw The Tempest today with our 14 year old. I’ve never been to this theater and it was absolutely amazing. The intimate setting made for an extremely enjoyable experience. The set was beautifully done as were the costumes.

Great performances every time. Their venues are always welcoming and lend themselves to an intimate experience. The sets are also fun to see change from scene to scene.
An intimate theater experience. The cast and crew put on a fantastic performance of As You Like It. 100% will be coming to see more of their work in the future!
