Dr. Smith and his staff are who I turn to and trust for our family. Dr. Smith is a skilled physician and has helped our family with several issues. He’s professional, kind, caring, but above all, highly skilled. His staff are friendly and helpful. We recommend all of our friends and family to Seaside Podiatry.
Dr Smith is now under investigation by the CA state medical board for negligence, medical malpractice, and falling far below the minimum standard of care, placing patients at risk for amputation. He hipshot his diagnosis, electing to ignore; detailed history of infection risk, ignoring biopsy which revealed bone fragments, removing the patient from necessary antibiotic treatment, which laboratory results revealed Pseudomonas. So hard to call those 3 locations and make an appointment.
I cannot recall the last negative review I posted. I would give zero stars on this review if it was possible. I met with Dr. Collin Smith regarding foot pain and after a brief exam, he referred me for an x-ray which I had done the next morning and called his office to report the x-ray results were ready. I waited 5 days and didn't hear back so I called his Poway office number and asked that they have him call me because the foot pain was significant and I wanted to know the recommended course of action based on the x-ray.
