stay away , nightmare ! i stay i key west my wife and i every 3 months in different hotel, motels for the past 14 years this was by far the worst experience ever , motel under construction and more costly thean others motel dirty , not appealing stafs rude, disrespectful, was given a room tolally different that what i was expecting employees awful, room does not even have a small table ot chair door made of glass the outside light was getting inside the room at night and by 6 am the room was so clear my wife and i did not sl... read more

This is a very nice motel. Friendly staff, very clean and remodeled rooms. I do have a couple negatives: 1) the pool: it is still being remodeled and that should have been advertised! Apparently they just filled it with water the last couple days, but there is still construction. And with the beaches not being swim beaches that much, that was a big disappointment. 2) “Night life”: some fellow neighbors decided to have some loud conversations and smoking weed. My husband has dreamt of visiting Key West most of our 31 year marriage. We were visiting Marco Island and decided to surprise him with a ferry ride to Key West. We were staying one night. I didn’t want to spend a fortune for a bed as amenities weren’t necessary, Seashell fit the bill. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The shower was fantastic for a no frills hotel.
