Just had my mother call to check on her warranty status for an alternator I installed while working at the Michigan City location. Idiot on the phone didn't even look up her invoice and arbitrarily told her 2 years. Now, when I installed it, the box clearly read "lifetime warranty" (as did all the alternators we installed). One of the many reasons I left this company! They take serious advantage of their customers, and hire people with zero industry experience! Went for a new battery! Took longer then they said it would take. I would never take my care there for major work. Usually not to difficult to mess up new tires or new battery.
Bullshit fucking Technicians, still waiting after 1 MONTH after they fucked my car up for them to fix it !!!!
I have been taking my vehicles to Sears for quite awhile. I had to get an oil change, 2 new tires for the front, brakes front and back and my air fixed. and a radiator flush. Tanya and Greg were great!Tanya told me about the tires and Greg helped me with everything else. George is great also.A very nice young man.Great person to talk to.very helpful also. I went in with a 11 am appointment for 4 brand new tires an oil change and a tune up. Each of these thing can take around 30 to 45 mins to do(my brother and fiance are mechanics). So if it went on the longer side you would be looking at 2 1/2 hours to do all this stuff but instead of just working on my car for the appointment I made I saw a manager pushing other customers ahead of people who had been there with an appointment longer. My Suv been acting funny for about 1 month. I thought I got mice stuck in tires again. Which they removed 3 dead mice before. George took care of it and be sure that my sons and I have safe vehicle to drive! It turned out it was bearing broken. They took care of it and received new tires plus oil change. It running great! Thank you!!! �
