Ordered tires three weeks ago. Was never told they were back ordered until I called to check on them. They offered to order other cheaper tires and I said fine. They told me they would be here a week later. A week came and went and no call or mention that they arrived. Went into the store to cancel the order altogether and was told I had to pay a restocking fee because the tires had arrived. This place is a fraud they don't know what there doing. And they guess and charge for unnecessary repairs.
Same situation. Wrong part came in. I was told to leave it up in the air and they would get the right p[art. I told them I needed the car. When the part was in they should call me. The manager didn't like my attitude and said he would not order the part. I should go elsewhere to get it fixed. So I did. Turned out to be a hose clamp that cost me $40 instead of $194. Thank you Sears auto center for misdiagnosing the problem, and ordering the wrong part. Most of all, thank you for sending me to another mechanic.
Motorcycle battery died for some unknown reason across the street from service center. I walked over and the guy at service desk was extremely helpful. He loaned me a jump pack which didn't do the job. Took the battery out and brought back over. He checked it and put it on there charger for me. This worked and got me back on road and home before the rain. Was some helpful and didn't try and up sell me somthing in a pinch. Thanks great service!
This place SUCKS. My power steering fluid has a leak and they said they would order a $300 part and I said...okay sure, order it. I have to contact them for them to tell me they recieved the wrong part and it would take 2 days for the right part to come in. A week later I call them AGAIN and they say they can't recieve the part because it is dealer specific. They keep no contact with you whatsoever to let you know what's going on.
