They don't even deserve 1 star. Negative 5 stars would be them. They have scheduled to come out 6 times but have only been out 4 , the other 2 appts were no show no call. They have replaced 3 different parts and the machine still does not work.
First time I called Sears was in June25, 2016 to fix my AC, then I called them again since its still not cooling again. I called them on July 28, Technician came on July 29. They stayed only for less than 10 minutes. The same problem on Aug. 2nd. Tech came on Aug 4th. Tech said They are unable to fix the problem, had a leak in the unit ,they were trying to sell me new AC. We had to stay in the hotel. A/C unit was serviced ,and I feel there is a leak within the system,because of a yearly problem with its need to be serviced with Puron.The Technician noted this for the same problem if it were to occur again a leak detection would be started.
Charged $100 and did not fix the refrigerator problem. Had to use another repair service to fix the ice maker.
The tech arrived during the allotted time and was friendly. Unfortunately the work she did didn't really solve the problem.
delivery of washer went great no problems. set up was fast and easy. sears delivery men were very nice and quick.

Stay away from sears and their Maintenance Protection Agreements. I purchased four appliances from sears in 2001 with a Maintenance Protection Agreement on each. Every year a sears technician has came out to inspect the appliances. Last week rust was noted on the Kenmore washer. There are no parts available to fix it and sears will not cover rust so for 15 years the sears technicians, trained in ignoring anything that's not covered under the maintenance agreement, have ignored the rust until the machine became unserviceable ... read more
The service technicians take ownership of your problem and work hard to resolve your concerns, but they are not fully equipped with full documentation for the appliances they are sent to repair. It is also very difficult to obtain an appointment because the customer is required to perform extensive troubleshooting steps before a technician will be assigned to complete the repair.
