I live in a rural town and have no option to have anyone but Sears to fix my range. Phillip in the Arkansas branch came to work on my range that has been broken since April. He said that a higher than normal voltage is causing the issue and refused to fix it. He knows because he “googled it” and that’s what LG says. I had the power company and an electrician come verify it was high but within range so I had them turn down the power. That was not good enough for him and he has denied my claim. Very poor quality customer service. Had a technician (Phillip) refuse to fix my range after spending over $600 because he googled what could cause the issue and was sure it was too much power coming into my home. Although I have had this much power coming into my home since 2009. The power company and an electrician both said this was not the issue but he was extremely rude and walked out of my house. Sears Home Service is extremely difficult to reach if and when you need to actually speak with someone. My repair required two technicians to handle it as I have a stacked unit. There is no way to tell them at time of the service request. The 800# is really difficult as well. They either don't understand you do to it being another nationality answering or the system is having issues. There is also no way to contact the local office. Kevin is an excellent technician who has maintained my air conditioner and furnace. He made a major repair on the air conditioner. He always explains what he is doing. He leaves the area clean. He is always efficient, courteous, and customer friendly C.Scott (Detroit, MI) .
I had an appointment for washer service and the tech never showed up and then reported washer working fine when he got here. Have called many times to find out exactly what happened and asked to have a supervisor call me to discuss this issue. Paid the 49.99 charge initially with nobody showing up to even look at the washer. Everytime recording says calls recorded and afte no service I called back to cancel the service package and now I have been charged another month. Complete rip-off in my opinion.
