I was delighted to learn that Search Home Services would work on my LG diswasher -- most repair services won't. Unfortunately, the verdict was that the repair would cost more than a new dishwasher, so I paid only the diagnostic fee and went shopping. So my review of the repair call is favorable. My review of the LG dishwasher, which has leaked chronically and failed entirely after just four years, is much less so.
He ran all the diagnostics on the machine two time but did not find any indication of a problem. But having the experience he checked the drain hose which he found to be too far into the drain. He explained that this would create a backflow issue which would make the machine's computer determine that there was still water to be drained delaying or halting the spin cycle.
We had a very knowledgeable serviceman to fix our stove. It is working better now than it has ever worked.
