I was referred to dr. Devine 4 a torn labrum in my hip and spinal stenosis in my back I waited three weeks for them to contact me and give me an appointment the date of my appointment their secretary contacted me and said that they were unable to see me that they are are you referring me back to my primary care doctor so this whole time I have been waiting in pain for this doctor to treat my situation just to get told that they are not going to see me and to go back to my primary care very unprofessional and unorganized with... read more
Dr. Devine does not care about his patients. I continued to get worse and worse for 5 months before changing doctors and being taken care of right away. He was only interested in sharing stories about his wonderful relationships with his other patients and when it was time for me to ask questions is was time for him to leave. I would not recommend him to anyone.
Everyone in the office of the Central Coast Ortho Clinic in Pismo Beach were so friendly, helpful and efficient! I expect a lot from staff from my own customer service attitude and they truly made you feel important and took the time to listen and work with you. Dr. Devine was super 'down to earth' and realistic. We worked out a PT program letting me make the choice with full explanation of my options. Thank you for a worthwhile visit to your office.
I have visited Dr. Devine three times over 3 years. Each appointment was never rushed. He is friendly and answers all your questions. We made decisions together and made plans for treatment. He did not push surgery on me at all. I feel lucky to have his practice in San Luis Obispo.
Left me with a torn ligament in big toe due to surgery. Learned nurses don’t care for him.
I had a faulty shoulder surgery with Dr. Devine in 2013 From my shoulder being too loose and dislocating often. I now need another surgery as my shoulder dislocated the other day stretching with my hands above my head. I’m in serious pain and extremely disappointed. He and his staff have terrible communication skills. I had a hip replacement about 3 years ago. Dr. Devine explained about a year before that I would eventually need the hip replaced but that at the time, replacement was unnecessary. I run every day and he suggested I stop doing that and bike instead. When I reported that biking actually hurt more than running, he simply said: "Stop the bike and start swimming if you can." Dr. Devine’s assessment of the condition of my knee was spot on. He performed the surgery and was very clear on my after surgery care. I followed his instructions and after a couple os months I am back surfing with my friends and my son’s family. Many thanx for the professionalism and personal concern for my wellbeing.
My primary care doctor referred me to doctor Devine for a consultation on a complete Achilles Tendon rupture that is several months old with a 6cm gap. Dr Devine, called me at home after hours. He said he was very concerned about the length of time since rupture and let me know that I needed to get surgery sooner rather than later.
