Went there to check my face was treated and told to come back on the next visit I had a pimple on my leg it was removed and found I had cancer and needed to be removed. Since I was going back to New York I didn’t have enough time to treat in Florida. I was told that if I didn’t get in done in there office the doctor would drop me as a patient. They aslo asked why I didn’t come in earlier to get it done. Well I dropped the doctor. I never heard of that policy. I guess he is just interested in the money.
I have been Dr. Sukal’s patient for years. He is very thorough in his examinations. He is personable, knowledgeable and caring. His staff are also friendly and helpful.
This office overbooks outrageously. If you enjoy cooling your heels in a waiting room for at least 30 minutes past your appointed time, he's your man. If this total disregard for. your time offends you, as it does me, find someone else ,as I did.
I arrived ontime & explained to front desk that I had 2 hours in order to make another appointment. They said it wasn’t a long wait time. I sat for an hour with a full room of patients still waiting, so I rescheduled. When I returned one week later, Sukal said that he would reprimand his staff for allowing me to reschedule. His tone was demeaning, nasty and when I asked him if he was kidding, he told me that he doesn’t allow patients to reschedule and that I was crazy and should have waited 2 hours. Attentive, professional, works efficiently, and knows what he is doing.
I have been going to Sean for years and I can tell you he has probably saved my life many times. I am a surfer and waterman who has spent many years in the sun, most of the time without any sunscreen. Sean is a solid guy, and in fact I am telling all of my extended family to go see Sean.
As a physician, who ran a practice for 35 years, I know it trickles down from the top. Your front office or a reflection of you. I don’t think I need to say anything more. I never saw the doctor. He never came out to address the disrespect from front office staff that if they worked for me, I would go out of business. I don’t care if he’s the best dermatologist in the world. I was warned how arrogant he is well I’m going back to Washington DC to see my dermatologist, even though I live in Florida. That should say it all.
My family has been visiting Dr Sukal for many years now. He is patient, knowledgeable and excels in his craft. The offices are beautiful and well-kept, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Dr. Sukal and Ms. Lori Fordham Bass have provided my wife and I the finest, actually lifesaving medical and surgical dermatological services for over 10 years. Lori does a more thorough skin check than I have ever previously experienced and had diagnosed several malignant melanomas which were verified at MD Anderson when I requested a 2nd opinion pathology report. The office is modern and clean with a friendly supportive staff. Dr. Sukal's surgical abilities appear unsurpassed.
