I was served brown wilted old lettuce. This is the fifth and last time it’s happened this year. The owner/cook said he just bought the lettuce yesterday. I said that is irrelevant as the lettuce today is clearly not edible and should not be served to the public as it’s a health risk. I asked him to take it off my tab and he refused. He told me if I didn’t like it I should not come back. Voila’. It’s a shame as the servers there are so lovely. Anyone searching for a Restaurant in San Francisco, especially breakfast) should give (Seal Rock Inn) a try, right up the hill from the Cliff House. Easy to find, easy parking. great food at reasonable prices. My Mom was in a Convelescnt home in SF for almost 9 yrs. Many Saturdays my Wife Lisa and I would pick her up and take her there for breakfast, followed by a drive down Ocean Beach!!!

When we are in San Francisco, this is one of our favorites.
We stayed in in August 1965 we moved from Va. and I was about five and so glad to see it is still around.. Thank you.
