I booked the “Drive Your Own Boat” experience for my birthday, and despite the thunderstorms, smoke, poor air quality, and even hail, the team was exceptional. DC weather can be unpredictable, but Glen (the manager) and his crew, Julia and Harris, were incredibly helpful, flexible, and attentive. Glen proactively checked in about the weather, offered options to reschedule or adjust the duration for safety, and ensured I felt supported throughout. Had a great time with me and my friends. It was seven of us in total. We brought our own food and drink. We had such a ball really in this review. I just wanna give like some tips of what to bring on the boat because once you’re there, there’s kind of no going back. Number one thing is there’s a charging port like a car. And a USB port so if you wanna bring a charger, I highly recommend it no USB-C charging port. Father's Day was ruined! I booked a 2 hour SeaDC electric boat rental for a 6pm cruise on Father's day. About 10 mins prior to our arrival at the gate I received a call from SeaDC stating that they have to cancel my (paid in full) reservation because the boat we were going to drive had a mechanical issue during the last reservation and was being taken out of service.
