Had a great day at the Sea Lion Caves, Florence, OR. Luckily they had not left for the winter, Yet. That happens in September. Take binoculars!!
Awesome experience seeing them fight on the beach is fun
It was pretty neat but I thought it was a little too pricy. Yes, the views are amazing, but you do go through the cave fairly quickly. I didn't go to see the sea lions because I knew that they wouldn't be in the cave at this time of year, I went to go see the view and learn about the cave. If you are going to see the sea lions, I would suggest going in the winter when they are in the cave. Other than the price, everything was great! I enjoyed reading about the cave and animals. I had an amazing time here. Seeing the sea lions in their natural habitat was mesmerizing and we even spotted 2 humpback whales in the distance. The gift store had the most reasonable prices I've seen in like places. Thank you for all the work and care you put into keeping the caves thriving!
Cool place! Very windy so bring a jacket. Also bring a good camera for the lighthouse. We even got to see a couple whales!
