If I could give them zero stars, I would. SDGE is the worst energy company in the nation, charging the highest energy fees, randomly charging higher prices throughout the year, month, or day (even though San Diego has the most mild weather in the country). They leverage their monopoly in the market to charge whatever they want, all while refusing to meaningfully upgrade infrastructure and move to clean energy. Would not assist me with turning my power when I moved into my new house because I moved in on a Sunday. My food went bad...and I had to work remotely the next day. Customer service was apathetic and would direct me to the website/app which both had broken date fields. I feel like crying from the stress.
They are nothing but a bunch of crooks for what they charge people. The federal government needs to get involved and regulations put into place for what they can change per kilowatts per hour.
