The food was great!! We were served fast by a very friendly staff. I would highly recommend Scrooge’s for all your dining needs. It was an authentic southern meal just like Grandma’s house.
First time eating here this weekend and it was absolutely fabulous! Our server Harmony....... THE BEST! The food GREAT.... you must try the Bacon sour cream potato salad.... KILLER! The hamburger steak with brown gravy and onions.... WOW! And I know because I’m a cook! When you go, the entrance is around on the back side from the main street so do be mistaken. We almost were!

Stopped in after softball tourney and sat in bar area. Great friendly service from Chris and food was on point. Had the shrimp poor boy and fried jalepenos!! Yum �
Just leaving this establishment!!! If I was able to leave one star I would!!!! I waited fifteen minutes just to be greeted and receive a drink, another thirty minutes for the serve who just so happened to be the manager to walk by and tell us she will be with us shortly. Didn’t ask if we wanted refills or anything. She circled back around and helped every other table but ours. Upon exiting, I noticed we were the only people of color seated. Scrooges is loaded with "gemütlichkeit" - warmth, friendliness, and good cheer (if you can overlook occasional friendly sports rivalries). Clean, safe. Staff is friendly and competent, food is many notches above typical pub fare. It's my regular.
