I was brought here after being found unconscious after being raped. The team I was assigned has failed me over and over. They did not get a rape kit performed as soon as possible. The psychiatrist I was assigned (for what? Does being raped make you need a psychiatrist?) has been constantly gaslighting me, saying I have a history of suicidal and bad behavior that I haven't shown in over 2 years, and he keeps insisting it was a suicide attempt. RecommendedFriendly staff and clean facility. I am here now with my husband that was admitted due to blood pressure. Obviously they want to run tests to rule out that he had a heart attack but come on. It’s been 13 hrs now since he’s been allowed to eat or drink. He’s stressing more due to lack of coffee and food and the best time frame we can get is sometime today we hope to do an echo and stress test. RecommendedI have never had a more pleasant ER visit than at Scripps Mercy. I was treated with dignity and respect by incredibly warm and caring nurses and doctors. Humor, compassion, education....I got it all there during my visit. And the doctor made a return visit to answer subsequent questions my fiancée and I had about the findings and possible future issues. I highly recommend Scripps Mercy to anyone in need of emergency services.
