This may be the best french toast I’ve ever had. Four thick, fluffy slices surrounded by rum-soaked bananas and cinnamon-sprinkled whipped cream. Yum.
Thought the praline bacon was overrated, and this is coming from a hardcore bacon-lover. If you usually like your bacon crispy, you will *not* enjoy this. Soft and soggy with oil - yuck.
The fried chicken is PERFECT. The hush puppies, the collard greens, the the the.... everything is good. EVERYTHING!!!

This place is amazing. Get here at least 30 minutes before opening to get a table early. The food, whatever you order, is DELICIOUS
Everything was good. We had chicken & waffles and the Louisiana style po-boy. They were excellent. We highly recommend Screen Door to everyone in Portland.
Atmosphere and decor are great. Tables are a little close. Came on a Friday night around 8:41 PM and was seated relatively quickly. Food is absolutely amazing! Try the Mac and Cheese and Pecan Pie!
Really long wait 😑 honestly the fried chicken was okay (not crispy enough). The waffles are good. I liked the biscuit and gravy. Ask for the gravy on the side so you can gravy up the chicken.
Goodness it's rare to have the ability to obtain the food you loved growing up but this is so spot on. The Oysters are amazing. Toffee and Banana Creme Pie was out of this world.
