If you want some delicious southern food, this is the place to go. Warning: it gets busy, so be prepared to wait; but it is definitely worth it. Tiff had the chicken and waffles WHOA! YUMMY!

for a place that purportedly has awesome meaty dishes, it has a surprising number of veg*n options. Screen Door Plate it up! the combinations are endless.
The plentiful plates at this popular Southern spot draw from the traditions of comforting soul food, spiced Cajun, New Orleans French fusion, Tex-Mex, and the water-fed Carolina Lowcountry.
The Rhett hot toddy was one of the best I ever had. Chicken strips and sweet potato fries were good too!
Famous for chicken and waffles. Portions are ENORMOUS, so be careful how much you order.
Beware: portions are huge! The fried chicken is fabulous but could easily feed two. And the Mac and cheese is intense, in a good way.
Maybe the best brunch in Portland. Chicken & waffles are awesome!
