I wouldn't take my pup anywhere else! My husband and I just recently adopted a puppy from Scottsville, and have been nothing but pleased with their care of our little pup! Yes, it was expensive to adopt, but he came with vaccinations, was neutered, had a physical and free two week check-up. Would not recommend I found a posting with a very nice picture of the dog that we adopted from them. The dog's story pulled at my heart strings and so we checked into him and ended up adopting. Prior to the adoption I asked so many questions about the dog and his back ground, especially his health because he had been a stray for quite some time and then in different shelters for about a year. Great with the animals and their people. I have adopted a cat from Scottsville Vet Hospital and take my dog there as well. They are wonderful to my animals and I believe the prices are comparable to other vets. Yes it does cost a bit more to adopt from them but they have many animals that they have with them for a long time. The cat I adopted from them had been there for over a year before I discovered her. Great Vet hospital and caring vet/staff I've been going to Scottsville Hospital for many years and my dog loves it! He gets tons of love and attention, and the prices are fair. They save tons of animals there!!!. They never put the shelter animals to sleep, the staff told me they keep the shelter animals as long as it takes until they find a home. Dr. Bergash may come across as reserved, but he is VERY kind! I have recommended this hospital and adoption agency to friends and family.
Not what the say they are I thought that they were a nice vet hospital but I agree with the other review. Their prices are astronomical. It costs about 200 to adopt a cat from them. They are a no kill but I heard that they pick and choose their animals and if they are there too long they send them to lollipop. I too heard that the vet is not nice and is in it strictly to make money
Not the best vet out there. We adopted a cat here. While they try to tell you it is cheap, it really isn't. It was expensive. There are cheaper places to get one. Also, I have heard horror stories about the Vet. Everyone says he is mean. I don't know this first hand however. One good thing is that they don't kill any of the animals if they aren't adopted after a certain time. However, if they are full then they just don't accept anymore animals.
