Scott's Bar-B-Que follows the southern tradition of slow cooking pork overnight to give it that characteristic smokey flavor, and most patrons visit the joint to have their famous pulled pork. All their dishes are offered with an ample serving of their most sought after secret barbecue sauce. The staff is kind and helpful and pays attention to detail. Although this place is well out of the way from nearby towns, it is definitely worth the ride. One can also shop at their in-house store for fruits, sodas and local delicacies.

Drove 3.5 hours from Tybee Island last Wednesday. Closed on vacation. No mention of closing on Facebook or website. Live in Texas. Huge disappointment. I don't hate it. Never got to try it.
Absolutely best BBQ anywhere but be sure and call before making the drive if you're vacationing at Myrtle Beach. This is the second time we've been at the beach and made the hour drive on days they were supposed to be open only to discover they're closed.
Scotts has been an annual tradition for me and my son for the last three years. Every time we go to Myrtle Beach or come back to the upstate after a week down there... You can bet we are gonna take that detour!
There is nothing. Nothing. Not to love. Great food. Spicy deep and clean flavored. Great people here. A must.

I was expecting more. I was a little disappointed.
It was delicious! I got to see how the BBQ was made and it was awesome! I also got the red velvet cake which was even better! A go-to!
Drove out from Mount Pleasant - the best BBQ Ive had in a year and a half in SC!!
