Owner of Scott's Auto Sales was convicted yesterday in St. Joe County In. On 3 counts of odometer tampering. Mr. Scott recieved one year of home detention. When he was looking at possibly several years behind bars. Authorities did revoke his dealer license in Mish. location has closed. He has since absconded to Indy and it looks to be in operation. Reported to BBB & filing a case with my attorney. Documents were dated December 18, 2012. Add was in South bend tribune December 23, 2012. I purchased this on December 25,2012. No paper plate was given to me as promised and my 8 min drive home the check oil & engine light came on. Called Adam the owner was promised his guy would bring paper plate & check car. Never called or showed up. Called owner said he was on vacation & hung up on me. So more or less they got my $3210 and ran!!!!
This is the BEST place in the area to go!! They make buying a car fast and easy. The staff is all family and very professional. My Job is to find business in the area that are honest, friendly, legit and professional...and this car lot is OUTSTANDING!!! They price their cars exceptionally low and are proven to be interested in whats best for the customers. Worst car buying experience ever. Owner was rude and careless. All cars are junk and engines blow within a few weeks. They may look and sound pretty on the lot but day two of driving any one of their cars it starts to fall apart. Duct tape starts to fall off and motor starts knocking. Don't go here!
