Took our mower into Scott's, told it will be done in a week, never got a call and it was done a month later. We mowed the lawn twice and it broke down again. Of course he said it wasn't the same problem, so now it will be $300 total. If I had any idea it would cost that much I would've gotten a new mower.
I took a rider in to get worked in and had horrible service. Very bad customer service. Does not treat people with respect and was yelled at and was called a liar because I told him I would come pick it up during the week. But yet he was closed. But he lied to me saying he was open and that im making excuses. Just a horrible experience.
To any of you "riding/push mower people who might be in need of repair" read on...this is what happened to me. Our rider is a Toro and the steering stopped steering so we had to find someone to fix it (our fav peeps Woo. Saw shop, don't fix Toro). Looking in the phone book we a place in Kelso "Scott Stone's Mower..." that fixed Toros so in we went to drop it off..."the belt needs replaced, @$150ish, ready by frid..." OK. Fri comes, no call so I called them..."the part is not in should be here by Tues and ready by Wed.." sigh... read more
