Uncomfortable experience - beware – Hygienist nice, competent, but very chatty (including personal business, which became awkward.) Dr. Kubota was one minute loudly joking, then minutes later arrogantly curt and dismissive. Weird Jekyll & Hyde. This experience was very uncomfortable. The odd energy there made me tense. I prefer calm and steady v. volatile and unpredictable at the dentist.
The BEST dentist – In addition to my review below. I had a root canal performed by Dr. Kubota. His treatment before the appointment made for a pain-free procedure. During the procedure, he and Victoria were chatting about things, and it just made for a very relaxed atmosphere. After I got home and the anesthetic wore off (and the feeling returned to my lip), the "reality" set in. Uncomfortable, though still not in any way terrible.
