Very disassified customer. Scott Felder built a home with below the market assets. Cabinets were prefabricated. Flooring was poorly done in the bathroom areas. Uses very cheap appliances, low grade quality on light fixtures, plumbing accessories and does the absoluate bare minimum on on all bathroom facilities. It appears he buys his plumbing supplies from an unknown manufacturer , visits flea markets for unknown commodities and uses unprofessional bodies to do his flooring throughout his houses. Our experience with Scott Felder at Veramendi in New Braunfels, TX was a nightmare. I only wish there was an option for negative stars. The home we were building was at 2247 Sur Ave. Since they effectively pushed us out of our contract, they re-listed raised the price of the home by $250K. That home has sat in the framing stage since December 2021 so I feel so awful for anyone that dares purchase that home at this point. Our home building experience with Scott Felder at Veramendi, which began last August, has been a nightmare. They told us everything we wanted to hear until that last installment check was cashed on our 2% deposit, then suddenly after almost two months of radio silence, we’re told—in April—that our projected completion date had been pushed from the end of May to July. Buyer beware !! This company is slow to respond to warranty issues taking weeks, months, if you ever get a response. Regret ever purchasing a S&F home.
Realtors and buyers beware! This builder is extremely unprofessional, all the way up to the VP of operations. I voiced my complaints on behalf of my client who left their office in tears. I received a 2 sentence reply from the VP! They clearly do not care about customer service what so ever. Doesn't make one feel very confident in how they build their homes. Our sales person was amazing. The construction of the home is good and the amenities are good. However; the warranty issue getting things repaired and fixed is another issue. We understand this virus issue has been over panicked and cautious, but we have issues which are approaching serious as getting water in the house due to bad grades on the side of the house. Submitted a request for help. NO HELP. So far, not that big of a fan.
