I visited Dr. Plaster yesterday for a post-op appointment regarding my recent right hip replacement. As usual, he took the time to answer all my questions and gave me information about what to expect in recovery. This was 3 weeks after surgery, and I am amazed at how fast recovery has been! He is very personable and is interested in seeing that I have a good outcome.
Excellent care. Professionalism established at every appointment, before & after surgery, up to my final visit. Dr. Scott Plaster is highly qualified and recommended.
I was so impressed with Dr. Plaster. I have been experiencing hip pain for over a year and finally I found a doctor who might have a possible diagnosis of what the problem might be. He reviewed my MRI test results for both the hip and lower back, spent time explaining and recommended an injection. So thankful that I found someone who wanted to help find a cause for the hip problem. Thank you!
Dr. Scott Plaster is TERRIFIC. I had hip replacement and to tell you the truth, I was pretty apprehensive about it. But the Anterior Approach that he uses is the best option, IMO. I was using a Walker for about 2 weeks, then a cane for about 3-4 weeks. When I went for my 6 week follow up I asked him when I could quit using the cane and he said, “when you’re carrying it more than you’re using it.” I had already notice myself doing that for about a week prior to that.
