I had MOHS on my face 20 years ago. New to JAX, the first dermatologist I consulted said the spot on my cheek was a wart, with no biopsy. Weeks later I insisted on a biopsy and it was cancer. I found Dr. Warren and was able to get an appointment right away. MOHS with 8 stitches, more under the surface. After one month the scar was invisible! He is a skilled surgeon, communicates very well and a Seminole! Highly recommend!

Immediately felt like I was in the hands of the right Dr. ! He is very knowledgeable and confident and gets right to work. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He is SO good with stitching that doesn't leave scars!

My experience with Dr. Warren and each member of his Belfort office staff has been exceptional. From surgical skill, to office efficiency, and demonstrated, sincere patient 'care' – Dr. Warren's First Coast Mohs team is outstanding.

Dr Warren and all of his staff were perfect. Surgery went great and hardly any pain after I got home. Very professional office. Highly recommend to individuals who need skin cancer surgery.

I am a wound care NP who works with the worst wounds with various bacterial growth that I am frequently exposed to, not to mention Covid & Fl heat. Due to these factors I felt I needed to take FMLA to have topical chemo on my chest. This procedure leaves an open weepy wound for about 2 weeks (not a good idea to work with my own infectious patients). However, my FMLA was denied by Kelly John NP, so I reached out to the Dr to explain why I wanted time off of work, but still, he backed her. ABSOLUTE IRRESPONSIBILITY! She actual... read more

I was referred to Dr. Warren from Dr. Butcher my primary care at Baptist Health. The skin cancer had gotten worse over the course of 6 mths and since it's almost in the middle of my chest I thought the scare would be horrific. It has been a month and I can already tell that when the inner stitches dissolve there won't be much scar left.

I had basal cell carcinoma removed from my ear. Dr Warren did a great job! I was very happy with the procedure and the results.

Dr. Warren and his entire staff are fantastic! The office is well run and the staff is extremely polite, professional and considerate. I see Ms. Cooksey every six months and she is very thorough during full-body examinations. Dr. Warren has performed two Moh’s surgery’s on my face; one on the middle of my nose and one just under my left eye with almost no scarring whatsoever. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes before being seen.

Beware, Dr. Warren informed me today that he does not do any regular dermatology appointments, after I specifically asked his staff and explained exactly what I was making my appointment with him for. He said " Let me stop you right there, I don't mean to be rude, but I don't do dermatology." I explained that his staff knew exactly why I had scheduled my appointment and that they told me he would address my issues. One of my issues was caused by a previous cancerous removal, yet he would n

Business response:

As a Mohs Surgeon, I spend the vast majority of my time removing skin cancer and do not see general dermatology cases. There are three providers within the practice that accommodate that type of appointment. I am sorry that you feel as though you were scheduled in error and are unhappy with the outcome of your visit. I did everything that I could to make your specific situation right. Please know that we have spoken with all staff members and have made changes in our scheduling procedures.
