Scoma's prepares some of the best seafood dishes on Fisherman's Wharf, which is no small feat considering the competition. The traditional dining room lets the food do the talking. The menu focuses on fresh seafood that is either sauteed or broiled. Enjoy Dungeness crab, prawns, scallops, calamari, abalone, swordfish, salmon, oysters and clams. House specialties include a spicy cioppino (seafood stew) and a filet mignon and lobster tail combo. The wine list is adequate, featuring domestic and imported wines.

Very disappointing lunch. Not at all how how it was the last time we ate here. The food was very bland with almost no flavor. I had the Patrale Dore fish and my partner had the Crab Louie. The crab was sparse, bland, and some of the lettuce used as garnish was brown and wilted. Overall verdict: over priced and under flavored! Not sure we will return.
One of the "must eat at" restaurants when I'm in San Francisco! I always have the absolute best service and the freshness of the food is wonderful!
Ate here 35 years ago on our honeymoon, still the best in San Francisco!
The calamari is always tender and seasoned just right, the crab cakes are heavy on crab and light on bread, the scallops and shrimp are never overdone or tough, and the service is professional to a T!
Had the Scoma's Shellfish Sauté... Bland and unseasoned. Expected far better. Wine was wonderful however!
Mmm
My favorite restaurant in San Francisco no trip is complete without it!!!!
Here on our Anniversary life is GOOD
Amazing! The view was great and the food was delicious. I had the swordfish picata. It is hidden well so look out for the signs and make reservations. Also it is pricey (but worth it).
